Greek Island Experience

This morning we woke up on the island of Hydra (pronounced ee-drah) and have the morning free before we head back to Athens. The island is serviced primarily by donkeys, who hall everything from people to luggage to food to bottled water (pic related). Overall a nice quiet island with plenty to explore for a few days.
Yesterday we swam at a nice quiet cove where a few young lads were doing synchronized cliff diving (think Back to School) from ridiculously heights. I stuck to the water level this time and there were no sea urchins around.
Vacation is coming to a close but the timing feels about right. We still have a night in Athens and a night back in Amsterdam at a cool ecofriendly hotel. Some form of travel for each of the next three days will probably leave us a bit winded. Wish us luck!
