Minor (painful) Bump in the Road

The WI River “Solstice Float” was a hoot; we already have tentative plans to do it again next year. The un-glaciated area of Southwest WI made me dream of the green mountains that we will be experiencing in less than a week…yes, less than a week.
Monday turned out to be quite an interesting day for the two feisty bikers. A freak bird feeder filling accident lead to a trip to urgent care for Liz. I now have 9 toenails instead of 10. I’m sure that it will make me a faster cyclist (all of the TdF riders are doing it :-)). There does not appear to be any infection brewing and the doctor told me that walking should not be a problem in a week.
Always an adventure, eh?
