Wednesday: we biked from the Jesse family homestead (Madison) to the Jesse family vacation cottage in Cambridge. They’re kind of a big deal that way. We headed south out of town on the Badger State Trail, and as soon as the pavement turned to crushed limestone we abandoned the trail and headed east towards Stoughton and Cambridge. We had plans in the afternoon, along with valet transportation (again, we’re kind of a big deal) so we made for a very quick 52 mile ride, compared to our normal touring pace, and headed back in to town to see Liz’s brother Vince play two Jazz shows over a few hour period. Yeah, he’s kind of a big deal too.
Fun times, saw lots of people: Carmen, Troy, Linda, Lianne, Carla, Brenda, Rebecca and also Tim and Marjorie in a slightly reduced fashion. Get well soon Big Tim!
